Play cafe aimed at pre-school children. Hot and cold drinks, cakes and light meals are available. No separate breastfeeding area, but their website states they are breastfeeding friendly and both sofa and dining-chair style seating is available in the cafe area. SeeSaw has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and I would feel comfortable feeding my child by any means here.

Cafe and interiors shop in Cathcart. Staff were very accomodating to us when visiting with two babies, and were able to provide high chairs (with trays!) and children's cutlery. They were also happy to prepare the wee ones' food without salt. The cafe displays a "Breastfeeding Welcome Here" sticker.

Public library, with a dedicated children's section in a separate room. Free Bookbug sessions run Thursday and Friday at 1330 (at time of writing). Step-free access is to the left of the main library entrance, via a lift which fits one pram or wheelchair at a time. No separate breastfeeding room, but seating is available in various areas throughout the library.

Community hospital with publicly accesible cafe and toilets.

An unusual, but in our opinion very cool, collection of small business units tucked away in south Glasgow. There are a number of kids venues operating out of here, including RAW Kids Gymnastics, Little Lab Investigators and Magnificent Little Minds Hub (@magnificent_little_minds_hub). Food options include Sub Rosa pizza (our personal favourite), baked goods from Juno Preserves (@juno_preserves) and coffee from Parallel. Opening hours for each venue vary, so please check online before visiting. Most units are on the first floor, there is stair access from ground level. Those with prams and wheelchairs can use the vehicular access ramp, though this is fairly steep and you will need someone to open the shutter for you. The venue has plenty of free parking.
